2019: EFCC reportedly raids homes of Atiku’s sons, Mustapha, Aliyu

By - - [General ]

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has raided the home of children of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Media aide to the former vice president, Paul Ibe, confirmed this to DAILY POST on Monday.

Ibe said that during the search of the residence of Aliyu and Mustapha Atiku-Abubakar, the EFCC operatives ended up arresting two other residents of the estate in Maitama, Abuja, confiscate two of their cars but later released them.

He said Atiku’s sons are not even in Nigeria.

According to him, “Yes, the EFCC came on raid at the residence of Atiku’s children, Aliyu and Mustapha.

“But in search of their home, they raided the homes of other residents of the estate, and demanded that they take them to Atiku’s son’s homes. But they [the residents] declined, saying they don’t know them (Atiku’s sons).

“They [EFCC] arrested two of the residents, confiscated two of their cars, but later released them. Atiku’s sons are not even in the country.”
